A 28-year-old woman with a history of stricturing ileo-colonic Crohn’s disease with perianal involvement presents to the clinic to follow up for routine IBD care.
She was diagnosed with IBD at age 16 at which time she presented with a terminal ileal stricture and underwent ileo-colic resection. She has subsequently had two bowel obstructions that were managed conservatively, the last of which was roughly a year ago.
She is maintained on Infliximab and has not had significant perianal disease since starting the Infliximab.
Currently, she reports 4-5 loose, non bloody stools, which she associates as her baseline now
She denies nausea or vomiting, and reports a good appetite and says she eats “normally”. She denies any recent weight loss
