Case 8 continued

You see the patient in hospital several months later. He has developed significant progression of his disease, with metastasis to bones, lungs and lymph nodes.

He has failed 2 lines of chemotherapy and is currently on best supportive care and wishes to transition to home hospice.

He has lost more weight and his BMI is currently 17. He is no longer able to perform ADLs independently. His family has questions about whether he should continue tube feeds when he is discharged home to hospice.
