Case 2

The patient is started on Cholestyramine twice a day with excellent control of her diarrhea.

Her discharge medications include Cholestyramine, Vitamin D supplement and PPi

3 months later the patient returns to your office for follow up. She feels well, has a good appetite and is eating normally. She is having 1-2 formed stools daily without blood and denies extra intestinal symptoms

Physical examination is  notable only for a well healed vertical midline incision on her abdomen.
