MEET OUR TEAM

| Co-founder, Priya Simoes, MD, CNSP(@PriyaSimoes) is an Assistant professor of Gastroenterology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Physician Director of the Clinical Nutrition service at Mount Sinai West and Morningside Hospitals. She is also the Associate Program Director for the Gastroenterology fellowship Program at Mount Sinai West, Morningside, and Beth Israel. She completed her residency at Mount Sinai West/ Morningside Internal Medicine program, then went on to do a Clinical Nutrition Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, NY. She did her fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she also served as Chief fellow. Dr Simoes is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association Academy of Educators and serves on the American Gastroenterological Association Nominating Committee. |

| Co-Founder, Samira Farouk, MD, MS, FASN (@ssfarouk) is currently an academic transplant nephrologist and Associate Professor of Nephrology and Medical Education. She is the Associate Program Director of the Nephrology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She is the co-founder of NephSIM, a mobile-optimized, case-based nephrology teaching tool, and the SIM Series. She completed her internal medicine residency, nephrology and transplant fellowship at Mount Sinai and served as chief fellow. She is an executive board member of Nephrology Social Media Collective and NephMadness and serves as the Director of Trainee Engagement and Mentoring at KIDNEYcon. |

| Rachel Hilburg, MD (@RachelHilburg) is currently a nephrology fellow at the University of Pennsylvania. She is the co-founder of NephSIM, a mobile-optimized case-based nephrology teaching tool, and the SIM Series.
